Mr. Minsuk Kim is a Senior Advisor at Shin&Kim, mainly practicing in the area of Labor and Employment, and ESG.
Mr. Kim passed the 37th Higher Civil Service Examination and entered the Ministry of Labor in 1994, and has held key positions related to employment and labor administration for 31 years, including the Vice Minister of Employment and Labor, Presidential Secretary for Employment and Labor, Director of the Labor Policy Office, Standing Member and Secretary General of the National Labor Relations Commission, Director of Labor-Management Cooperation Policy and Chairman of the Gangwon Regional Labor Relations Commission. In particular, he has built a profound professional career, and developed policy insights, in the entire areas of employment and labor administration, including the formulation of labor policies, mediation of labor relations, development of human resources and labor supervision at industrial sites.
Mr. Kim currently provides clients with substantive and strategic legal advice on various sectors, including advice on the corporate personnel and labor management, labor relations and labor policy responses, based on his experience in the public service sector and his policy expertise as above.
