Jee-Eun Roh

Ms. Jee-Eun Roh is a partner at Shin & Kim, where she advises Korean and foreign companies on regulatory and compliance matters, with a particular focus on healthcare, digital health, personal information protection, and data governance. She has extensive experience advising clients in the medical, pharmaceutical, and digital health sectors on personal data protection, data utilization, cross-border data transfers, and data governance matters.
Ms. Roh currently serves as a member of the Statistical Administrative Data Expert Committee of the Social Security Committee and the Data and Systems Expert Committee of the National Integrated Bio-Big Data Project. She is also a member of the Policy Division of the Technology Forum of the Personal Information Protection Commission and the Director of Legal Affairs of the Korean Society of Digital Health. Additionally, she is an expert member of the Healthcare Data Review Committee of the Korea Health Information Service.
Additionally, she acts as counsel to the Personal Information Protection Commission and the Korea Internet & Security Agency and serves as Standing Director of the Korea Personal Information Protection Law Association and Executive Director of the Korean Association of Data Law and Policy. Through these roles, she continues to contribute to legal, institutional, and policy research related to the protection of personal information and data governance.
