Mr. Hyosup Ann is the Head of the Corporate Governance Research Institute at Shin & Kim, where he provides advisory services on corporate governance matters.

Mr. Ann received his LL.B. from Hanyang University and earned his Ph.D. in Law (Commercial Law) from the same institution. He has accumulated substantial practical experience in the corporate sector, having been responsible for investor relations, shareholder engagement, and ESG functions at major conglomerates, including Hyundai Group and Samsung Group. He subsequently served as Head of the Governance Division at the Korea ESG Research Institute, a leading proxy advisory firm in Korea, where he led responsible investment and proxy advisory services. In particular, he has advised major domestic pension funds and institutional investors on stewardship code implementation and proxy voting matters, and has extensive experience in corporate governance issues in the capital markets.

Mr. Ann also served as Head of the Governance Consulting Center at Daishin Economic Research Institute, where he led corporate governance advisory services for listed companies, including advising on compliance with amendments to the Korean Commercial Act, the development of engagement strategies with institutional investors and proxy advisory firms, shareholder activism response, and the enhancement of board operations.

Based on this extensive practical experience, he provides comprehensive advice on corporate governance and ESG-related matters.
