Mr. Sang-Wuk Lee is an associate at Shin & Kim, specializing in environment, mobility, and consumer goods and distribution.
He provides counsel to domestic and international corporations on environmental and mobility regulations, licensing, government relations, and environmental M&A due diligence. Additionally, he offers general corporate advisory services for the consumer goods and distribution sectors, with a specialized focus on regulatory compliance concerning the Liquor License Act and the Liquor Tax Act.
Before joining Shin & Kim, he built an extensive background in the public sector. At the Ministry of Justice, he oversaw the drafting and development of the Attorney Examination system and handled related litigation and legal interpretations. He also served in the Litigation Department of the Seoul High Prosecutors’ Office, representing the National Tax Service in tax delinquency cases and managing real estate litigation for the Korea Asset Management Corporation and various local governments.
