Sangho Weon is a partner at Shin & Kim, and his practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters, cross-border transactions and overseas investments. He has extensive experience and a broad understanding of corporate governance, private equity, foreign exchange and foreign direct investment regulations, overseas projects, and cross-border transactions generally.

Mr. Weon has advised domestic and international corporations and investment institutions across a wide range of industries on mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, private equity transactions, corporate governance matters, and general corporate law issues. In recent years, he has focused on cross-border transactions involving overseas investment matters and international trade.

In particular, he has advised on foreign investment structures, overseas joint ventures and the establishment of local subsidiaries, overseas project development, and regulatory and compliance issues in foreign jurisdictions, drawing on close cooperation with local law firms and investment institutions. He also has experience advising on overseas PPP projects, contractual structures for international projects, foreign exchange and foreign direct investment regulations, merger control filings, and legal issues relating to overseas expansion, with particular experience in transactions and projects involving China and the Eurasian region.
