On November 4, 2015, Shin & Kim co-hosted the “Introduction to Investing in Myanmar” seminar with the Myanmar Office of Allen & Gledhill based in the Southeast Asia.
Myanmar has drawn much attention from companies around the world as it serves as a geographical and strategic key point connecting China, India and other ASEAN countries, as well as a repository of various natural resources. The seminar was thus held to provide an overview of the Burmese laws related to foreign investments and practical guidelines for companies that are currently exploring opportunities in Myanmar. At the end of the seminar, a lively Q&A session took place to discuss the current status of foreign companies operating in Myanmar.
