The American Lawyer, a renowned legal news and insights publication for the professional legal community, recognized Shin & Kim’s Project Energy Team for its performance on the Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) Surgil Project, naming it the “Global Finance Deal of the Year: Project Finance (Asia)”.
The Surgil Project involves the development of the Surgil gas field by KOGAS, Lotte Chemical Corporation and STX, and is about to proceed in full swing with long-term loans worth an aggregate of US$2.54 billion and with a 16-year tenure from major Asian banks including the Export-Import Bank of Korea and Asia Development Bank.
