Neunghwan Kim is a Senior Advisor at Shin & Kim and provides advisory services primarily in the areas of financial institution management, cross-border M&A, financial regulation, and internal controls.

Mr. Kim served as an executive for 17 years at HSBC Bank, Woori Financial Group, and KB Financial Group, where he oversaw global business operations and the overall management of financial institutions. He also served as an Audit Committee Member (Outside Director) of KDB Capital. Drawing on his extensive experience in both executive management and board governance, Mr. Kim possesses broad practical expertise across the financial services industry.

In particular, while leading global business operations, Mr. Kim successfully executed cross-border acquisitions of financial institutions and has extensive experience throughout the entire M&A process, including transaction structuring, valuation and pricing, and obtaining regulatory approvals from financial supervisory authorities. He also successfully completed M&A transactions in three Southeast Asian countries, gaining substantial expertise in overseas market entry and cross-border expansion.

In addition, as Head of the Financial Business Division and Head of the Product Development Division, Mr. Kim oversaw the development and management of a broad range of financial products across both banking and non-banking financial sectors. He also accumulated extensive experience in regulatory compliance, asset quality management, profitability enhancement, risk management, and credit management.

Furthermore, during his tenure as an Outside Director of KDB Capital, Mr. Kim served as the inaugural Chair of the Internal Control Committee, where he played a leading role in establishing the company's internal control framework, including its Responsibility Map (Book of Responsibilities), and overseeing the operation of the Internal Control Committee, thereby contributing to the enhancement of the company's internal control system.
