Mr. Gujun Nam is a Senior Advisor at Shin & Kim, and provides advisory services in responding to police investigations and other criminal cases.

Mr. Nam graduated from the Korean National Police University (KNPU, Class of 5) and served as a police officer for 34 years after being commissioned in 1989, and performed public safety duties, including the National Police Agency, regional police agencies, and police stations.

Notably, he served as the Inaugural Commissioner General of the National Office of Investigation, and oversaw the operation of the national investigative system, and accumulated expertise and experience in investigation practice and policy operation while serving in other important positions at the National Police Agency, including as the Director of the Cyber Safety Bureau, Head of the Crime Investigation Division, Head of the Special Investigation Division, and Head of the Crime Intelligence Division. He handled important cases and operational management as chief commander, including the Chief of Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency, Chief of Changwon Jungbu Police Station, Chief of Seoul Yangcheon Police Station, and Chief of Gyeongnam Masan Dongbu Police Station.

Based on his experience in investigative and operational management, he provides advisory services to corporations and institutions on investigative response strategies, corporate crime cases, and general criminal cases.
