Mr. Seunghyun Lee is a Senior Advisor at at Shin & Kim, mainly practicing in the areas of Corporate Investigation & White Collar Crime, Foreign Investments, and other cross-border legal matters.

Mr. Lee is an immigration expert with approximately 33 years of service as a public official under the Ministry of Justice's Immigration Service since 1993. He has extensive experience in formulating and implementing policies and managing operations related to foreign nationals, including visas, stays, nationality, immigration screening, law enforcement, and migrant integration.

During his many years at the Ministry, Mr. Lee spearheaded improvements to visa systems for attracting foreign investment and recruiting foreign students and other high-caliber talent, alongside streamlining unnecessary regulations in visa and stay policies and migrant integration policies. While serving as the head of the Office, he gained broad experience in handling cases involving various types of crimes committed by foreign nationals.

Based on his extensive experience in policy formulation and implementation within the public sector, Mr. Lee currently advises clients on foreign national visa and stay management, migrant integration, foreign national–related disputes, and administrative responses.
