Mr. Seonggi Jang is an Advisor at Shin & Kim, mainly practicing in the areas of Defense Industry & National Defense and Corporate Investigation & White Collar Crime.

Mr. Jang began his service as a non-commissioned officer to the Army in 1992 and accumulated extensive experience in military law and investigation during his approximately 33-year service in the military. During his service in the Army, he served as a military prosecutor investigator, handling core military legal tasks such as military law case investigation, state litigation and state compensation, disciplinary cases, and victim support. Subsequently, while serving as the head of the investigation team in the defense acquisition investigation division and the anti-corruption investigation division at the Prosecutors Office Ministry of National Defense, he participated in investigations of nationally significant cases, including corruption cases related to defense acquisition and public security cases. He also gained experience in joint civilian-military investigations through a secondment to the Joint Investigation Unit for Defense Acquisition at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office. Furthermore, he gained expertise across the entire defense industry by conducting investigations and collecting criminal intelligence related to strategic materials, defense materials, and military supplies for the Defense Acquisition Program Administration and the Army, Navy, and Air Force Logistics Command's Combat Support Systems Project Teams.

Currently, leveraging his solid practice in military investigations and defense procurement, he handles military and defense-related disputes and investigative responses, issues concerning defense procurement and strategic materials, and provides risk management and advisory services to public institutions and corporations.
