Ms. Jooyeon Park is a senior foreign attorney at Shin & Kim whose practice captures a diverse range of cross-border transactions, with a focus on M&A and private equity transactional matters.

Jooyeon has advised global and Korean corporate and private equity clients on a wide range of transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, buyouts, mergers, going-private transactions and venture and growth capital investments. Jooyeon has extensive experience advising on transactions in and out of Korea as well as other Asia-Pacific jurisdictions.

Prior to joining Shin & Kim, Jooyeon worked at leading international and national law firms in New York, Hong Kong and Seoul. Jooyeon received her B.A. from Seoul National University in 2012 in International Relations. She received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2016. Jooyeon is a fluent speaker of Korean and English.

• Represented EF Education First on the majority investment by Permira in EF Kids & Teens business in China and Indonesia

• Represented Naver Financial on its participation as lead investor in the Series B financing round of TBCASoft
