Mr. Dong Jun Shin provides advisory services on financial investment at Shin & Kim, and his practice focuses on self-regulation of associations, including asset management, securities, real estate trusts, and K-OTC.

After joining the Korea Securities Dealers Association (currently the Korea Financial Investment Association) in 1993, Mr. Shin handled various services in the stock, bond, CP, and OTC markets and gained diverse experience and knowledge in the asset management field for 11 years, from the head of the Collective Investment Market Team at the Korea Financial Investment Association (in 2010) to the head of the Asset Management Division (in 2021). In particular, he has been deeply involved in the introduction of products with tax benefits such as tax-deductible long-term funds and KOSDAQ venture funds and has led the establishment of a low-cost and convenient fund investment platform, the Fund Super Market. He has contributed to the growth of the asset management industry, from 87 management companies and 6,000 employees to about 460 management companies and 12,000 employees, by providing practical support for the improvement of the private equity system.

Currently, Mr. Shin is involved in advising on the general financial investment business at Shin & Kim, including advisory services on fund management and sales, support for response to inspections, licensing and registration of financial investment businesses, registration of offshore funds, and self-regulation of associations such as the K-OTC, based on the knowledge and communication experience with the policy and regulatory authorities he gained over 30 years.

Mr. Shin has also been serving as a civilian member of the Steering Committee of the Pension Investment Pool of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance. The 47 trillion won pension fund investment pool is the government's integrated investment vehicle that actively pursues returns from more than 70 pension funds through asset management experts. Being recognized for his expertise, Mr. Shin has been an active civilian member of the committee in the financial sector.
