Shin & Kim participated as a sponsor in the 4th East Asia Bankruptcy Law Symposium held by the Institute on Bankruptcy Law on November 3, 2012.
At the Symposium, where experts on bankruptcy laws from Korea, China, and Japan came together to discuss the latest legal trends and issues regarding the bankruptcy laws of each country, attorney Yong-Seok Park of Shin & Kim presented on "Changes in Insolvency Law and Practice – the Journey to Effective and Efficient Insolvency Proceedings".
Attorney Yong-Seok Park practices in the areas of corporate reorganization/bankruptcy procedures, personal debtor rehabilitation, workout, and restructuring, and participated in the enactment and amendment of the Integrated Bankruptcy Act while serving as a member of the enactment/amendment committee on the Integrated Bankruptcy Act of the Ministry of Justice.
