Mr. Dohoon Seok is a certified public accountant at Shin & Kim where he provides tax advisory services related to tax audits, tax disputes, family business succession, and asset management, etc.

Mr. Seok previously worked in the audit division of an accounting firm, performing audits for large and mid-sized Korean companies. He then transitioned to the tax consulting division, where he handled corporate tax filings, tax audit defense, tax appeals, and tax authority inquiries for large and mid-sized Korean companies. He also handled corporate governance restructuring related to spin-offs and mergers, as well as tax advisory services concerning inheritance and gift tax filings and audit defense for business owners, and tax advice related to deemed gifts from unfair business practices of funneling business to a subsidiary.

• Represented major domestic conglomerates including HD Hyundai Group, LG Group, Lotte Group, JoongAng Group, and Hanjin Group in corporate tax adjustments and filing
• Represented Company H (refinery), Company E (distribution), Company S (consulting), Company K (chemicals), and Company K (cargo handling) and Company C (public enterprise) in tax investigations by the Seoul Regional Tax Office, Incheon Regional Tax Office, and Central Regional Tax Office, and filed tax appeals

• Represented Group T, Group L, and other groups in reporting deemed gifts related to unfair inter-company trading
