Introduction

Mooni Kim is a senior foreign attorney at Shin & Kim whose main practice areas are Project Finance, Energy and Resources as well as Virtual Assets and Metaverse+NFT.

With respect to Project Finance and Energy and Resources, Mooni advises lenders, sponsors and borrowers in various types of transactions in domestic and cross-border projects, corporate financing and export-credit agency financing. She has recently assisted with the successful closings of multiple renewable energy projects.

With respect to Virtual Assets and Metaverse+NFT, Mooni has extensive experience in advising various stakeholders, including domestic and foreign virtual asset exchanges, with novel legal issues that arise in this rapidly evolving industry. She is also actively publishing in journals and participating in domestic and international seminars.

Mooni received her B.A. from Seoul National University and J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. As a member of the New York State Bar and the Washington D.C. Bar, she previously worked at DLA Piper LLP (US) and Kim & Chang.
