Mr. Kihong Kim is an associate at Shin & Kim and focuses his practice on M&A, corporate governance, private equity transactions, joint ventures, Foreign Investments, Private Equity, and general corporate law.

Mr. Kim graduated from Dankook High School, Seoul National University Graduate School of Business, and Yonsei University School of Law, and was admitted to the bar after passing the 8th bar examination. Mr. Kim is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Seoul National University Graduate School of Law, specializing in commercial law.

Prior to joining Shin & Kim, Mr. Kim served as a military judge advocate at the Korea Defense Acquisition Program Administration where he reviewed statutory queries, amendments to the Defense Acquisition Program Act and related administrative regulations, military procurement contracts, and litigation strategies related to the Severe Accidents Punishment Act.

At Shin & Kim, Mr. Kim has represented Korean and foreign companies and PEs in various industries, advising them on M&A transactions and general corporate matters.
