Information Session on Amendment to Overseas Construction Promotion Act

On August 27, 2015, Shin & Kim held a joint seminar on “Information Session on Amendment to the Overseas Construction Promotion Act” with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the International Contractors Association of Korea.

The session was aimed to introduce the amended Overseas Construction Promotion Act concerning the establishment of overseas construction dedicated funds and special exceptions applicable to construction companies’ asset management.  Daeshik Kim of Shin & Kim gave a presentation on interpretations of pertinent provisions of the amended Overseas Construction Promotion Act, illustrated by various examples of overseas construction dedicated funds.
