On June 18, 2014, Dong-Wook Kim, a Partner in the Personnel Management and Labor Team of SHIN&KIM, gave a presentation at a seminar on “Labor Relations Issues and Countermeasures in the Second Half of 2014.”
As a respected expert on labor law, Mr. Kim has dealt with diverse labor issues while working for the National Labor Relations Commission and the Ministry of Employees and Labor and providing legal review and advice on major policy-making decisions. He is an active member of academic associations such as the Korea Society of Labor Law and the Korea Society of Comparative Labor Law and a director of the Society of Labor Law Theory and Profession.
His presentation at the seminar was based on his work experience and covered the following topics: the current status of labor relations, recent major issues and countermeasures and potential issues and trends. The participants appreciated the opportunity to obtain useful information and requested a seminar on the same topic for the following year.
