Ms. Ji-Hye Shin gave a presentation entitled “Legal Issues on Contracts for Professional Athletes” at the Symposium on Improvement of Human Rights of Professional Athletes organized by the Seoul Bar Association on May 6, 2013.
At the Symposium, prominent speakers including Jae-Kyeong Lee, a professor of Konkuk University, Seon-Ung Kim, the secretary general of the Korea Professional Baseball Players’ Association, Cheol-Un Lee, a deputy director of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Gu-Yeon Heo, an MBC professional baseball commentator, participated in discussions on issues relating to the protection of human rights and improvement of treatment of professional baseball players.
Ms. Ji-Hye Shin is a member of the Korean Association of Sports and Entertainment Law. Ms. Shin’s main practice areas include entertainment, sports, media contents, intellectual property rights, and broadcasting and communications law.
