We are pleased to announce that Seong Don Hwang has joined Shin & Kim as a foreign legal consultant. Mr. Hwang’s main areas of practice include international litigation relating to intellectual property rights such as patents, patent application and licensing.
Mr. Hwang has a Ph.D. in Solid State Science & Technology and previously worked at the semiconductor group of Samsung Electronics as a flash memory design engineer. He also served as in-house counsel at Samsung SDI, successfully managing patent litigation related to PDP and LCD technologies, and various other matters involving intellectual property such as patent applications and licensing negotiations and contracts.
