On September 25, Shin & Kim hosted a reception on the occasion of the IBA’s 2019 Annual Conference in Seoul at the COEX Intercontinental Hotel.
More than 800 attorneys and other stakeholders in the international legal community – including attorneys from some of the world's leading law firms and organizations – attended the reception. Mr. Doo-Sik Kim, a member of the IBA Host Committee and Shin & Kim’s Managing Partner, and other Shin & Kim attorneys hosted the reception for a chance to connect in a casual setting and exchange views on the latest market trends, and to strengthen their relations with other subject matter and industry legal experts. Shin & Kim attorneys represented some of its key practices, including Corporate/M&A, International Arbitration, Finance, Real Estate, Litigation, and IP.
In addition, our IBA team held over 200 meetings with law firm representatives from around the globe at its temporary private business lounge. Moreover, 9 of our partners participated as speakers and as panelists at this year’s annual conference in 10 different sessions, covering the latest issues and trends, demonstrating their leadership and expertise in their fields.
