Shin & Kim opened its Ho Chi Minh City office, Vietnam, and began offering legal services on January 4, 2017. Shin & Kim will hold an opening ceremony on March 4, 2017 in Ho Chi Minh City to inform of such opening to, and have meeting with, local businessmen.
Vietnam is one of the largest trading partners of Korea, and as more Korean companies are entering the Vietnamese market, the demand for legal services is expected to increase steadily. In order to meet the needs of such companies, Shin & Kim will provide a one-stop legal shop that offers comprehensive and prompt legal services through the most dedicated local Vietnamese professionals in cooperation with other professionals in the Seoul office.
The Ho Chi Minh City office of Shin & Kim, is led by Mr. Young-Min Gil, a partner (head of the Ho Chi Minh City office), together with two Korean attorneys and two Vietnamese attorneys, to provide legal services to Korean and foreign clients entering the Vietnamese market with respect to M&A, overseas investment and operational matters.
