Shin & Kim ranked No. 1 in the real estate and IPO sections of The Bell League Tables for 2013, according to Money Today. 

Shin & Kim’s IPO team topped the IPO advisors list of the 2013 The Bell League Tables for advising on eight IPO deals in 2013 and has retained its No. 1 ranking among Korean IPO legal advisors in Bloomberg’s league tables for six consecutive years. 

Shin & Kim’s real estate team was the solitary stand-out as the No. 1 real estate adviser among all other Korean law firms for advising on 31 deals (announced) amounting to an aggregate deal value of KRW 5,019,600,000,000, 29 of which were completed, amounting to an aggregate deal value of KRW 5,015,000,000,000. The team advised on most of the high profile deals of 2013, including the acquisition of Ropemaker Place in London, UK, which was the largest real estate deal in the first half of 2013, and the acquisition of Homeplus.
