During the two-year term of his appointment, which commences from May 1, 2012, Attorney Cho will be responsible for rectifying incorrect administrative orders by hearing and voting on administrative appeals cases filed with the Central Administrative Appeals Commission.
The system of administrative appeals was established to promptly protect and advance the rights and interests of the public, free of charge, from illegal or unfair administrative measures ordered by an administrative institution. The Central Administrative Appeals Commission handles approximately 30,000 administrative appeal cases, on average, per year.
